Important: This instructions is for iThoughtsHD users who is already using Dropbox, on a per map basis, to save/backup some maps. So here are my version of the upgrade instructions: Instructions to Upgrade to Dropbox Making it worst is that the instructions on the iThoughtsHD website is confusing. But for users like myself, who has already saved a few maps to dropbox, the upgrade setup is not as easy as it sounds. When 3.0 is released, there seems to be some bugs and I waited for the next release, 3.1 to upgrade. Before I used to have to manually save each map to my dropbox folder. I was really happy when iThoughtsHD v3.0 adds full Dropbox syncing support. ![]() I tell people: when I need to create a mindMap, I will use iThoughtsHD on the iPad rather than to use any desktop applications even when I am sitting at my desk with my MacbookPro. So hand your device horizontally or vertically according to your needs. IThoughts mind mapping tool supports both landscape and portrait modes. To connect two topic or node, tap to select the first topic, tap on the link icon from the top menu bar, then tap the related topic to link them. Tap the node you want to add a related node to and then use the buttons at the top toolbar of the screen to create new nodes, child or sibling nodes. Any other node you created relate to the root node. You start with a blank canvas and the first shape, called node, that is titled ‘thought’. Then type in a name for the new map, choose a pre-defined style for it, and tap on the Create button.
